Step 1: Specify a Location

The easist way to start a property search is to specify a location.

1. On the Windermere.com home page, type your city and state (City, State), select Map, and click Search.
   
Note: If you were searching with List View, you would select List and then click Search.
2. Notice the following:
• The map appears and a boundary is drawn around the location you specified.
• A blue status bar briefly appears on the map, indicating all processes that are taking place.
  
• On the Listings tab (to the right) the number of matches updates, telling you how many properties match the current search location and criteria.
