Using the City/State/Zip Tool
When you start your search on the Windermere.com home page, you can specify a search location. In Map View, if you want to change your search location, one of the ways you can do so is with the City/State/Zip tool.
To use the City/State/Zip tool:
- In the upper right corner of the map, locate the tool.
- Do one of the following:
- In the City field, type in an address, street name, neighborhood*, city, or county, AND select a state, or
- Only select a state, or
- Only type in a zip code.
- Click
. The map zooms in or out as needed and a boundary is drawn around that location.
Note: Zip code takes precedence over everything else. If the Zip field contains data, the other two fields are ignored.
* A Note about Neighborhoods: If you type in a neighborhood name that is not an actual geopolitical designation (is not officially recognized) the bing™ map engine may not find it. Also, if there is a city by the same name within the same state, the map will focus on the city rather than the neighborhood you intended.
