Panning the Map

To move the map without changing the zoom level, you can drag it with your mouse or you can use the Navigator.

To drag the map with your mouse:
  1. At the top of the map, locate the Mouse Selector.

  2. Click the button next to Drag.
  3. Put your mouse over the map. Your cursor looks like a hand Drag cursor.
  4. Click-and-hold your mouse button to "grab" the map and then continue holding down the button as you move your mouse. The map is "dragged" wherever your mouse goes.
  5. To stop panning, release the mouse button.
To pan the map with the Navigator:
  1. In the upper left corner of the map, locate the Navigator.

  2. Click an arrow on the Navigator. The map moves in the direction of the arrow.
  3. Click again on the Navigator and while holding down the mouse button, move your mouse onto any arrow, or even between arrows, to pan the map in that direction. As you move the mouse, the map moves with you.
  4. To stop panning, release the mouse button.
