Searching for Rental Properties

In Map View or List View, you can search for all* rental properties that are listed with Windermere.

* The display of a rental property here is at the discretion of the Windermere listing agent.

In Map View

To search for rental properties in Map View:
  1. When you start your search on the Windermere.com home page,
    select View results as: Map.

  2. On the next page:
    1. Refine your search location using the map.
    2. Locate the Listings tab on the right.
    3. Make sure By Property Criteria is selected.
    4. Click More Options.
    5. Select Rentals. All other property types are de-selected.
    6. Specify other search criteria like minimum or maximum rent. For more information, see Searching by Location & Criteria.
  3. Click Search. The status of the search is displayed in the blue status bar on the map.

    When the search process completes, the number of properties that match your criteria is updated in the yellow band on the Listings tab.
    Number of property matches
    When your search produces between 1 and 5000 matches, a pushpin appears on the map at each property location and a list of the matching properties appears on the Listings tab. For more information, see Viewing Results in Map View.
  4. If the number of matches is 0 (zero), expand your search. If the number of matches is greater than 5000, narrow your search.
In List View

To search for rental properties in List View:
  1. When you start your search on the Windermere.com home page,
    select View results as: List.

  2. On the next page:
    1. Locate the Criteria tab on the right.
    2. Select Rentals. All other property types are de-selected.
    3. Specify other search criteria like minimum or maximum rent. For more information, see Searching by Location & Criteria.
  3. Click Search.
    When the search process completes, the number of properties that match your criteria is updated at the top of the page. When your search produces between 1 and 5000 matches, rental listings appear in the list. For more information, see Viewing Results in List View.
  4. If the number of matches is 0 (zero), expand your search. If the number of matches is greater than 5000, narrow your search.
