Viewing Aerial Images

Aerial view is a photographic view produced with satellite imagery and aerial photographs. You can customize the map to display an aerial view with or without map labels.

To view aerial images:
  1. In the upper left corner of the map, click Aerial.
    Map type
    The map changes to a photographic view.
  2. To overlay the aerial view with streets, street names, schools, parks, and other information, click Labels. To turn off this overlay, click Labels again.
Note: Bird's eye view is a different type of aerial view available at certain zoom levels. Bird's eye provides a zoomed-in, side-angle, photographic view of an area from north, south, east, or west. For more information, see Viewing Bird's Eye Images.
