Viewing Results in Map View
There are two ways to conduct your search in Map View. When you start your search on the Windermere.com home page and choose View results as: Map, the map appears with a boundary drawn around the location that you specified (according to the latest geopolitical mapping data) and pushpins indicate the first 100 properties that match your search. When you start your search on the Windermere.com home page and click on a state, the map appears with that entire state in view.
The number of properties that match the current search is displayed in the yellow band on the Listings tab, and properties are displayed 100 at a time. Every time you adjust the map or click Search on the Criteria tab, the search is re-run and this number is updated.
Note: If your search returns more than 5000 matches, you must narrow your search before you can view search results.
To view search results on the map:
- When you initiate your search on the Windermere.com home page, select View results as: Map, as shown here:
- On the next page, take a look at the map. A boundary is drawn around the location that you specified, and the first 100 properties that match your search criteria are represented by pushpins.
Property

Mouse over a pushpin. A balloon appears with a thumbnail photo, information, and links.
- Click View Details. The Details tab appears for this property.
- To view the details of another property, click next property or prev property at the top of the Details tab, or return to step 3.
- To view the next 100 properties, click
in the yellow band on the Listings tab.
Note: If this pushpin represents multiple properties near each other, you see a number range such as "1 of 4 >>". Click >> to scroll through the properties.
To view search results on the Listings tab:
- To the right of the map, locate the Listings tab. The first 100 properties that match your search criteria are listed with a thumbnail photo, address, list price, bedroom/bathroom count, and when applicable, an open house icon.
- Mouse over an address in the list. On the map, a balloon appears next to the corresponding pushpin.
- Click an address in the list. The Details tab appears for that property.
- To view the details of another property, click next property or prev property at the top of the Details tab, or click the Listings tab.
- To view the next 100 properties, click in the yellow band on the Listings tab.
